What is Teeny Tiny Fun Play?

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Norwood has adapted the way it is delivering its Children and Family Services and is continuing to provide support to our valued service users and Jewish families, schools and children. A weekly play group, based at Buckets and Spades in Finchley, offering free respite to parents and children living in Barnet. Referrals must be made through Barnet’s Short Breaks Service.

Who is Teeny Tiny Fun Play for?

Children from 16 months to 5 years with special educational needs and disabilities, and complex health needs, including:

  • speech and language difficulties
  • challenging behaviour
  • mobility difficulties
  • conditions such as cerebral palsy, congenital heart conditions and epilepsy.

What can Teeny Tiny Fun Play offer my child?

Teeny Tiny Fun Play can offer your child:

  • a stimulating learning experience in a safe environment
  • one-to-one support
  • activities tailored to their individual needs, which support their development
  • a range of fun activities, including:
    • arts and crafts
    • sports
    • music therapy
    • messy play

Your child will have the chance to:

  • develop by doing activities, playing and having lunch with other children
  • interact with other children of a similar age
  • gain greater confidence
