Norwood residential services provide homes to adults with learning disabilities. We value dignity, respect, choice, inclusion, community participation, ordinary life principles, human rights, and promote people’s wellbeing and independence. All of Norwood’s residential homes keep kosher.

Norwood will work with your social worker to assess your needs and identify the most suitable Norwood accommodation to meet them. Residential accommodation is staffed 24 hours a day, including the 1:1 support that you are entitled to.

We can support you with everyday living skills, such as personal care and health, including medication; cooking, cleaning and shopping; provide support with finances and budgeting; accessing local and wider community facilities and enable you to make your own choices and decisions about life.

Norwood has an extensive training programme for all staff; mandatory and specialised training to maximise skills and knowledge. Our support and services are safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led. Our staff are sensitive to the race, cultural and religious needs of the people we support.

Our Residential service is committed to quality and value for money and carries out annual quality assurance involving the families and carers of the people we support.
