Services for mental health and educational needs.

At Norwood we specialise in a range of services designed to support vulnerable children and their families, and children with special educational needs. As we mark #WorldMentalHealthDay on 10thOctober, we wanted to highlight just two of them which provide free advice for families regarding their children’s mental health and educational needs.

Free Advice Line for families

Our Education Service Advice Line for families is open to Jewish families and is suitable for all children, especially those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

This offers a free 30-minute call-back from our experienced multi-disciplinary team of Specialist Teachers, Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Educational Psychologists.

We can help with:

  • behaviour at home
  • learning at home
  • ways to work on speech and language therapy or occupational therapy programmes at home
  • special educational needs (with or without a diagnosis and/or EHCP)
  • anxiety, wellbeing and mental health
  • putting routines in place
  • anything else you need specific advice/support with

If you would like free advice from our multi-disciplinary team, please contact our Admin Team using 020 8809 8809 or and ask to book a free 30 minute Advice Line call-back. We do not charge for this service – all we ask is that you please take one minute to complete our feedback survey after the call.

Free in-person Therapy Advice Surgeries

Our in-person Advice Surgeries are aimed at Jewish children attending mainstream schools who have any form of Additional Educational Needs, or other barriers to learning.
