Make our film a winner

5 November 2019

For the first time ever, Norwood has entered a film into this year’s Charity Film Awards – and we’re calling on you to give it your vote, so that we can make it through to the next stage.

The film we’ve entered focuses on Jake, who lives in one of our supported living services, and his dad, Wayne. It was featured at our annual dinner last year and highlights how Jake’s quality of life and his relationship with his dad have gone from strength to strength since Jake moved into a Norwood home.

Norwood has been making quality films for a number of years and now seemed a fitting time to show others about the importance of our work and gain some recognition for our creativity. Indeed, the Awards were originally created to celebrate the success of film in fundraising, to increase exposure of charity films and to encourage donations, so achieving recognition will be incredibly important for Norwood.

The first stage is the public vote, so we need to encourage as many people as possible to vote for the film before 1 December to ensure we can progress to the next stage. To watch the film, and to vote, please go here.

We would be hugely grateful if you can also please share the post with your social media network so that we can get as many votes as possible before the deadline. The post can be found here.
