Caped crusaders cut loose at Unity fun day 9 August 2016 Press Release Unity, Norwood’s recreational group for children with disabilities, teamed up with Woodford’s ELHAP for a superhero themed activity day at the ELHAP adventure playground for children with special educational needs. The children, aged from 5 to 18, dressed up as their favourite comic book heroes, taking part in activities ranging from painting and cooking, sensory play, and a tree top walk to an woodland treasure hunt. Laura Barrett, Service Co-ordinator, Unity East, said: "Any villains would have done well to give Woodford a very wide berth. We had Superman, Wonderwoman, Batman and a whole host of other characters and a brilliant time was had by all."
