Tee time for Norwood as charity event raises £80,000

30 June 2016

130 golfers hit the fairway on Wednesday, raising an impressive £80,000 for Norwood at this year's annual C J O'Shea Norwood Golf Day. Undaunted by the rain, the players swung and putted their way around the world class Dyrham Park Country Club, followed by a very well deserved lunch and drinks reception.

The money raised will enable Norwood to provide vital services to vulnerable children and their families, children with special educational needs and adults with learning disabilities.

The winning team were Sandrove Brahams, with Copley Ltd the runners up and Gloster MEP taking third place. The prize for the longest drive went to Jack Bligh and Steve Masterton won ‘nearest the pin.’
