Another cracking Norwood Chanukah party15 December 2015Press Release Student volunteers from JCoSS helped Norwood to put on a Chanukah party to remember for the 230 adults with learning disabilities who are supported by the charity. Staff and JCoSS pupils gave the hall at JCoSS a magical makeover, stringing up decorations and serving drinks. Four guests helped Norwood’s Rabbi Stanley Coten to light the Chanukia, then Yuval Havkin and his Klezmer band got the whole room on their feet and showing off their best Israeli dance moves. After that everyone danced the night away to hits like YMCA and Oust Every Weekend. Guest Philip Rome said: "I had a very nice time and it was nice to see all the homes at Norwood come together at JCoSS school in High Barnet. We lit the candles and had a lovely dinner, and there was dancing too."
