Norwood Let it Go for a musical Purim spectacular!11 March 2015Press Release More than 250 people from across Norwood's services danced the night away at Norwood's annual Purim party, hosted by JCoSS. Party-goers dined on chicken casserole, hamantaschen and lemon drizzle cake, before the evening's main event, a Frozen themed performance of the Megillah of Esther. Adapting the lyrics of Disney's musical hit, the cast of talented Norwood staff had the audience up on their feet and joining in. Norwood Job Coach Garry Urwin donned a convincing wig to play brave Queen Esther and Placement Advisor Craig Huddleston relished the role of evil Haman. For Garry Urwin the highlight of the night came during the final song, a reprise of the ballad 'Let it Go'. "We'd hoped that people would sing along but the response went beyond anything we expected. It turned into a spontaneous karaoke session!" After the performance guests queued up to crowd inside Norwood’s photobooth, before showing off their moves on the dance floor.
