Time for… some half-term excitement!18 February 2015Press Release Children and young people at Time 4 U, Norwood’s half-term activity service based in Redbridge, took advantage of the February sunshine and enjoyed a scavenger hunt in the Centre’s garden this week. TIME 4 U is for children with special educational needs and disabilities aged five to 18. The scavengers raced to find 13 items, including a handful of leaves, something ‘shaped like a triangle’ and ‘something shiny’. Ellie, aged 13, said: "It was lots of fun and I found some shiny things." After lunch the children were visited by a pair of professional Lego builders, who taught them how to make a moving Lego robot, before relaxing in the games room at the end of the day. Tom Patrick, Time 4 U Coordinator said: "Half-term is an exciting time at the Norwood Centre. On Thursday we’re going to laser tag so the adrenalin levels will be high all week – we can’t wait!"
