A sporty January for all!15 January 2015Press Release Staff and people supported by Norwood are joining forces to get 2015 off to a healthy start. The charity has organised a programme of inclusive sports activities so staff can get fit and improve their wellbeing alongside the people they support. The scheme is part of Change the Game, a three year project that aims to break down the barriers preventing people with learning disabilities from getting involved in sport. Activities include gentle lunch hour walks, and, for those looking for more of a challenge, circuit training and football and rugby sessions after work. Drew Needs, Team Leader for Sports said: "Sport is an amazing way to bring people together and share in a common experience. Getting up and active really improves your mood – and it’s a lot of fun!"
