Sukkot tea party goes with a swing!

14 October 2014

50 people from across Norwood’s supported living and outreach services braved the wind and the rain on Sunday 12 October to attend a Sukkot tea party at the New North London Synagogue.

Guests enjoyed an afternoon of tea, cake and entertainment at the party, which was the culmination of months of careful planning from Norwood’s tea party committee made up of staff, people we support and the synagogue.

Norwood’s Jewish Cultural Advisor, Shoshana Bloom said: “Despite the rain battering down outside everyone had a brilliant time. We had all sorts of performers, including a young opera singer! It was really lovely to see some new faces at the event, and I’d like to thank everyone at the New North London Synagogue who helped us make the afternoon such a success.”
