A right royal race raises £25,000 for Norwood!

14 October 2014

14 runners keen to see some of London's landmarks from a different angle pounded the capital's streets on Sunday, passing Buckingham Palace and Nelson's Column along the way.

However, some of them didn't have long to take in the scenery – like Andrea Fraquelli, who finished the race in just 1 hour 20 minutes.

The Royal Parks Half Marathon raised £25,000 for Norwood's services.

Norwood Challenges and Events Co-ordinator Daniella Feldman, who also took part in the half marathon, said: "All the runners had a fantastic day! We couldn't be happier with their training and dedicated fundraising – and I personally couldn't have picked a better charity or place for my first half marathon."
