A job well done for arty volunteers!

9 September 2014

Eight volunteers from international consulting firm Huron Legal spent a busy day helping out at Norwood’s Kennedy Leigh Family Centre in Hendon last week. The volunteers honed their creative skills, painting a mural and a hopscotch in the garden, and transforming the paths and walkways with road markings to teach the children about road safety.

They also re-painted a multi-coloured fence a neutral colour, which means that children with colour sensitivity will now be able to enjoy the garden as well.

Annette Maher, HR and Operations Manager at Huron’s London office said that every one of the volunteers loved the experience: "Spending time with the kids and even seeing the adults who work with them was the best! Staff at Kennedy Leigh were absolutely thrilled when they saw the painting too. The work Norwood does is phenomenal and we will certainly be back in the future."
