Children’s Carnival raises £20,000 for Norwood

4 July 2014

After a fantastic day of family festivities this Sunday’s Children’s Carnival raised more than £20,000 for leading Jewish charity Norwood, which supports children and adults with learning disabilities and vulnerable families, at home, at school and throughout their lives.

More than 150 families flocked to the event held at the Jumeirah Carlton Towers.

They were entertained by jugglers, stilt walkers, a ball pond, a cookie decorating stall and a soft play area. Older children weren't left out of the fun – there was also a science lab, a Scalextric racing track, a coconut shy and a hoopla.

Carnival goers enjoyed a taste of the funfair too, with popcorn and candy floss served throughout the day.
