YN Property Awards Dinner 2014 12 February 2014 Press Release On Monday evening YN welcomed more than 400 people to the largest event for up and coming professionals in the property industry which featured the coveted YN Property Awards and recognised the most talented under 35 year olds in the industry. Not only are they recognised by the YN Property Committee, they are also recognised throughout the sector. The evening brought in a record high for this annual event of £105,000 for Norwood – a leading UK Jewish charity maximising potential for people with learning disabilities and vulnerable children and families at home, in school and throughout life. Under – Home: School: Life: Norwood continues to deliver vital services, tailored to each person’s unique circumstance and challenge; encompassing social work and family support, special education and support for people with learning disabilities and autism throughout their life. Ian Baron, YN Property Chair said: "This evening is about creating a community of leaders in property, passionate about recognising excellence in our sector and, most importantly, supporting those less fortunate who are helped through the work done by Norwood." The evening was generously sponsored by Derwent London and Pilcher Hershman. This year’s YN Property Awards were judged by a panel of property industry experts: David Marks of Brockton Capital, Liz Peace CBE of The British Property Federation, Marcus Sperber of Blackrock and Daniel Van Gelder of Exemplar. The awards were presented by fifth judge Mike Phillips, Editor of Property Week.
