More than 90 golfers clubbed together on Thursday to help raise over £47,000 for Norwood at its annual Golf Day. Held at Dyrham Park Country Club, the event generated vital funds to support Norwood’s life-changing work with vulnerable children, their families and people with learning disabilities. After a morning round of golf in the sunshine, the guests were welcomed by Paul Angus, Co-Chair of the Norwood Golf Committee. All enjoyed a glass of Pimm’s and a buffet lunch before awards were presented to the winning joint corporate team, Grant Stanley and Sandrove Brahams. The two runners up teams were Frogmore and Amipak Ltd. Ceri Thomas and Austin Posner won the Longest Drive and Nearest to the Pin awards, respectively. More than 23 companies from the construction and property industries participated, and firms who organised teams included City and Docklands, Galliard Homes, J S Wright & Co Limited, The Malden Group Plc and Cavendish Legal Group.
