Norwood honours Patrons at annual cocktail party

6 March 2013

As always we are very delighted and proud to continue to support Norwood. The charity does such amazing work in the community and whenever we can help we are only too pleased. We hope to continue our close ties with Norwood for many years to come.

Patrons and YN Patrons were honoured for their commitment to the charity at Norwood’s annual cocktail party last night, hosted by the Halcyon Gallery in Mayfair, London.

More than 150 dedicated donors enjoyed a cocktail reception with a private viewing of Masters and previously unseen works. This collection was made available for the first time for Norwood Patrons at the gallery in New Bond Street.

Guests were welcomed by Richard Desmond, President of Norwood, who thanked Patrons for their generosity and support. He then handed over to Carol Sopher, Honorary Life President of Norwood and Chair of its Annual Dinner, who outlined several of the charity’s key achievements from the last 12 months. These included improvements at Ravenswood, Norwood’s residential village in Berkshire and developments around Norwood’s Children and Family services.

Russell Green, Managing Director of the Halcyon Gallery, said: "As always we are very delighted and proud to continue to support Norwood. The charity does such amazing work in the community and whenever we can help we are only too pleased. We hope to continue our close ties with Norwood for many years to come."
