I am happy to have been given the opportunity to develop our world-class services for children and adults and look forward to continuing to work alongside Norwood’s professional and dedicated staff.

Angela Duce has been appointed Director of Operations at Norwood, a leading UK Jewish charity supporting children, families and people with learning disabilities.

Angela joined the organisation in 2008 as Head of Adult Services and went on to serve as Associate Director of Learning & Disability Support. Her new role will focus on integrating services for children and adults in order to provide a smooth transition and overseeing the operational management of services across the charity.

A qualified nurse for people with learning disabilities (RNMH), Angela has held a number of managerial positions in operations, education and development in the public, private and voluntary sectors. Her previous roles have included Lecturer of Nursing, Head of Operations for Macintyre and Head of Development for Shaw Healthcare.

Angela also holds a BA (Hons) Nursing and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA).

Norwood has also employed two new Heads of Operations, Sohail Faruqi and Pauline Smith.

Angela said: "I am happy to have been given the opportunity to develop our world-class services for children and adults and look forward to continuing to work alongside Norwood’s professional and dedicated staff.
