The Ambassador’s tea party28 September 2012Press Release We were delighted that such a lovely group of Norwood children and adults were able to help us decorate our Sukkah and help us celebrate the festival. Israel’s Ambassador to the UK, Daniel Taub and his wife Zehava, welcomed children and adults who use Norwood’s services to his home in St John’s Wood today, for a festive tea party, held in his Succah. Guests enjoyed tucking into a spread of pancakes and ice cream before transforming the Succah with decorations made by residents from Norwood’s residential home in Carlton Avenue HA3. Rochelle Reindorp, who is supported by Norwood, presented the Ambassador with a glass fruit bowl made by a resident from Ravenswood, Norwood’s residential community in Berkshire. She then made a short speech thanking him on behalf of Norwood. Today has been so much fun and I am so grateful to the Ambassador for inviting us. I really enjoyed meeting him and his wife Zehava and decorating his Succah. I also enjoyed the yummy ice-cream! The Ambassador said: "Zehava and I have been so impressed with Norwood’s amazing work. We were delighted that such a lovely group of Norwood children and adults were able to help us decorate our Sukkah and help us celebrate the festival." Zehava added: "We couldn’t have our children here today so it was nice to have yours."
