Top Look For Norwood Store

20 July 2012

Norwood’s charity shop in NW11 got a brilliant new look yesterday as the design team from Britain’s premier retail empire Arcadia, combined forces with the talents of Norwood, one of the UK’s leading Jewish charities.

Barnet Mayor Brian Schama and his wife Lynda cut the ribbon on the first of Norwood’s eight branches, all due for a redesign from high street family favourite, BHS.

It’s all part of the company’s social responsibility programme, developed between Arcadia and Norwood charity shops.

Elaine Kerr, Norwood’s Chief Executive said: "Norwood is immensely proud of the remarkable transformation of our Golders Green shop. We are extremely grateful for the generosity and expertise of the Arcadia Group. Our retail portfolio of eight shops helps us to earn vital funds to provide support services to the most vulnerable members of our community."

Darren Topp, Commercial Director for BHS said:

"BHS is delighted to have been involved with such a worthwhile project. We wish it all the success for the future."

Norwood’s first redesigned shop at 87, Golders Green Road, NW11 is now open for business.
