Leaving a gift to charity in your will and legacy

Norwood has been supporting the Jewish community for over 200 years, and we are still here thanks to the many gifts left to Norwood by people in their wills.

Norwood History Montage

While the Jewish community is known for its generosity, only 25% (one in four members) of our community leave a charitable Legacy in their Will, compared to 75% who give during their lifetime.

It’s a common misconception that only the rich and famous will leave money to a charity in their Will. This couldn’t be any further from the truth.

We believe that being able to benefit others beyond our own lifetime is a comforting one for many. By leaving a gift to Norwood, you can ensure that your support continues to improve the lives of future generations of people who need the support that only Norwood can provide.

Your generosity will be a lasting testimony that will safeguard our future

Any gift we receive is greatly welcomed. Whatever the size – be it £100 or £1 million – we will ensure that it’s put to maximum use to support the thousands of people who depend on our services every year.
