Outline Itinerary BOOK NOW

Be prepared for fells, forests and of course the lakes themselves which create this stunning backdrop to some of the best riding the UK has to offer.

Arrive at lunchtime on Sunday ready for a quick refresh and an introductory 40km ride, before facing the challenging Honister Pass – one of the UK's most exciting bike routes - on Monday and a 113km ride (with options). We finish off the challenge with an early start Tuesday morning and a 60-70km loop before heading home late afternoon.

We’re based in the one location for this challenge - Fallbarrow Hall, on the edge of Lake Windermere - so with no luggage to move, we can relax Sunday and Monday evening with sundowners, a barbecue and the glorious views to admire.

Registration is £100 (total costs £400) with a £350 YN minimum fundraising ask and a £500 minimum fundraising ask for over 35.

This is an intermediate to tough level of challenge that encompasses part of the renowned Fred Whitton Challenge. While not technically difficult, the route has been designed to be challenging - but achievable - with some regular training. Ideally you should be a keen cyclist, have a good level of fitness, enjoy training and ride regularly - with an ability to sustain the level of effort required over a period of days. Hill training is highly recommended. You will be required to complete a medical form and sign a disclaimer.
