27 new Norwood managers enhanced their skills
Twenty-seven new or newly appointed Norwood managers attended the charity’s new management development programme, Evolve, which aims to equip managers with the essential knowledge and skills to be successful in their new roles.
A further programme, Engage, was also designed to bring management competencies to life and to clearly define Norwood’s expectations of its managers.
Attending the course gave me the chance to meet managers from a range of different Norwood services. It was useful to share our own good and bad experiences of management, which helped us bear in mind the personal qualities we need to develop when managing our teams.
