BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY: Professor Stanley Segal was the Principal of Ravenswood for sixteen years. He was appointed in 1969 and was a pioneer in educating children with learning disabilities. He published many research papers and books the most notable being ‘No Child is Uneducable’ published in 1966 from which he went on to petition the government to provide education for children with learning disabilities. Ravenswood was at the forefront of this change and Professor Stanley Segal made Ravenswood a model community.
