Ravenswood at Crowthorne

The Ravenswood residential school was established when a house in Crowthorne, Berkshire was purchased by four families to provide care and education for four 11 year old boys.

After the acquisition of a second home and a farm five years later, the Ravenswood Foundation was formed. In 1996, Norwood and Ravenswood merged to create Norwood Ravenswood, the largest Jewish organisation in Europe specialising in children and family care.

Ravenswood is now a major employer in the Crowthorne and Wokingham areas, employing nearly 500 people.

An exciting development of Ravenswood is about to transform the community into an attractive, inclusive and dynamic place that forms a recognisable and valued part of the Wokingham and Crowthorne area.
