Fostering
Norwood has a long history, stretching back 200 years, of caring for children. We work to prevent the break-up of families but unfortunately this is not always possible.
Norwood finds foster carers for short and long term support. Our role is to recruit and support families suitable for the task of caring for our most vulnerable children.

Norwood's range of services is designed to support both the family and the child to ensure the best outcome for the child.
We run three fostering schemes; short term fostering (up to 2 years), long-term fostering (until 18 years) and our 'shared care' scheme, providing a respite service to our foster carers or to families with a child with a disability living at home who needs a short break.
Norwood works with the whole Community to ensure that we can support more children and families who need respite and fostering.
