Helping Hand Awards 2008

Every two years, the community has the opportunity to nominate those incredible people in the community who care unstintingly for others through their exceptional dedication and commitment for a Helping Hand Award.

If I am not for myself who will be for me? But if I am only for myself what am I?
And if not now when?

The closing date for 2008 nominations has now passed.

The selection panel is now assessing the record number of nominations submitted. The final recipients will be presented with the award and a specially donated grant of £1000 in November 2008.

Selection Panel

The Selection Panel comprises senior members of the legal and medical profession, personalities from the world of television, broadcasting and journalism, professionals and lay people from the Jewish community with experience in communal, charitable and voluntary work.
