From humble beginnings at The Jews’ Hospital in Mile End, to the expansion in West Norwood, from the creation of The Norwood Orphanage to the beginning of the Norwood Homes for Jewish Children, from the development of Norwood Child Care to the merger with Ravenswood in 1996 and up until today – Norwood has been the safety net of the Jewish community, caring for thousands of children and their families.
