The Toy Sweep Committee is named according to its specific purpose - to raise money to buy toys at Chanukah for the children and young adults at Norwood Children and Family Centres.
This committee holds a varied programme of events, including Bridge Lunches, Charity Cinema Nights and Ladies Shopping Trips, all of which raise funds to bring a smile to many children’s faces.

Toys R US, Brent Cross Shopping Centre
Children who use Norwood’s services will be in for a treat on 25 November 2007 when they embark on a one-hour trolley dash around Toys R Us in Brent Cross. They will collect toys and games, CDs and DVDs to be used as resources at Norwood services. All children who attend will also be given a £10 Toys R Us voucher as a Chanukah present to buy themselves a gift.
This year, the Toy Sweep Committee has raised £6000 for the Chanukah Trolley Dash, which has taken place annually for the last 10 years.
