Enterprise Supper Quiz raises £9,500 for Norwood

17 January 2011

There were mind games and brain teasers galore last night as Norwood’s Enterprise Committee staged its fifth annual Supper Quiz. The quiz, which raised a fantastic £9,500, was held at St Michael’s Banqueting Hall in Golders Green.

The event, attended by more than 200 people, was hosted by regular quizmaster Alan Dedicoat, better known as the National Lottery’s ‘Voice of the Balls’. Victory went to ‘Let’s Get Quizzical’, while a special True or False round was won by Paul Rubin.

Nicole Margolis, Norwood’s Events Fundraiser, said: “The evening was a great success and we are truly grateful to all those who gave their time and support, including the Enterprise Committee, our quizmaster Alan Dedicoat and, of course, our guests.

“The money raised will help Norwood to continue to provide the wide range of life-changing services on which so many people with learning disabilities, and children and families in need, rely.”
