The following letter by Norma Brier, Chief Executive of Norwood, appeared in the Guardian's Society supplement on 8 June. It was written in response to the BBC Panorama programme, Undercover Care: The Abuse Exposed, about the systematic abuse of adults with learning disabilities at the Winterbourne View hospital in Bristol.
