The toys are back in town, and Norwood and Walt Disney Pictures are offering young Buzz and Woody fans a unique chance to see Toy Story 3 in 3D two weeks before its official release date. Everyone’s favourite characters are back for the new film, ‘The Great Escape’, which is being shown at the Vue Cinema in North Finchley on Sunday, 11 July. All proceeds from the event, which has been organised by Norwood’s Enterprise Committee, will go towards the Charity’s life-changing work with people with learning disabilities, and children and families in need.
Fans are encouraged to dress up as their favourite toy for a special fancy dress competition and goodie bags will be available on the day. Tickets cost £15 for children and £20 for adults, and include popcorn and a drink.
Event Organiser, Gemma Wolfson, said: “The third chapter in the Toy Story adventure has been long awaited, and we are offering the chance to see it before the official UK release date, and in dazzling 3D. The screening is a great opportunity for a family day out, whether you are a Toy Story fan or not, and will raise vital funds for Norwood’s life-changing work.”
