A total of 28 members of Norwood’s staff graduated with Learning Disability Qualifications at a ceremony held at Winchester Cathedral on October 23.
Five members of staff received a Foundation Degree in Learning Disabilities - Leahanne Black, Carol Goodall, Brenda Oates, Martin Rowe and Laura Turnbull.

In addition, 11 Norwood staff members received their Learning Disability Award Framework (LDAF) Level 2 qualifications, and another 11 received Level 3 qualifications.
Helen Asombrado, Philip Avery, Rose Bentres, Sarah Bullock, Jonathan Burnham, Zaldy Dacal, Monica Doshi, Nestor Gelbolingo, Albert Henson, Leonorah Mukura, Maria Peralta and Mailyn Serrano all received Level 2 qualifications.
Liza Aljentera, Lisa Barker, Carl Boni, Linda Jameson, Mary-Tracy Leslie, Lynn Rance, Leonora Rueda, Mark Sklar, Alex Turay and Letiwena Tushwe all received Level 3 qualifications.

Norwood’s drive to ensure that our staff are professionally trained is part of our person-centred approach to all aspects of our work. We will continue to ensure that all our staff have the appropriate qualifications to provide the highest standards of care to the people who use our services.”
