YN N-Joy Queez with a twist

Last night, 110 keen participants took part in the YN N-Joy supper quiz, raising over £2000 for children and families charity, Norwood. 11 teams took part in the quiz with a television theme, which included 12 rounds based on favourite television shows like Blockbusters, Family Fortunes and Catchphrase.

Jewish News Editor, Zeddy Lawrence, was the Queez master of the evening, entertaining teams as they battled through each round of intellectual challenge. Teams enjoyed a falafel meal to help to boost their brain cells and at the end of the evening, the winning team “Sabine For Queen” emerged victorious to win a bottle of wine for each team member.

The quiz was organised by the N-Joy committee, Micaela Blitz, Sabine Cronick, Daniel Rissen and Joanna Dabouland and took place at Hasmonean Boys School in Hendon.

Sara Parish, Young Norwood Fundraiser said, “I’m so pleased everyone enjoyed themselves at Queez and want to thank the committee for their hard work raising money to provide support to children and families coping with disabilities and social disadvantage. We’d also like to thank sponsors UK Digital Cameras, Daniel’s Bagel Bakery and Noshers in Edgware for their generous support.”
