Michael Teacher has been involved in Norwood for 30 years. He was Chair of Norwood from August 2004 until December 2008. As Chair he was the most senior lay leader at Norwood. Michael also chaired Norwood’s Trustee Board, which works alongside Norwood’s professional staff in devising and implementing the organisation’s strategic plan. Before being appointed Chair, Michael was Deputy Chair of Norwood for three years and prior to that was treasurer for over 20 years.
Michael takes a leading role in major fundraising campaigns and represents Norwood on a number of influential cross-communal committees. Michael has also taken part in a number of Norwood Challenges including the India Bike Ride 2006 and the Israel Bike Ride in 2004.
Michael is Chairman and Chief Executive of Ontex NV and Chairman of Exitway Ltd. He was formerly Chief Executive of Hillsdown Holdings Plc.
