The Norwood Advisory Council
The Norwood Advisory Council comprises a select number of people who are experts in their particular field of work and whose expertise is relevant to Norwood in one of its service divisions.
Council members are available to offer advice or guidance to the Chief Executive or the Chairman when expertise is needed to support a corporate situation, a specific service or senior member of staff.
Although part of the Norwood Lay Leadership structure, the Council has no formal obligations. Members sit in an honorary capacity and have no legal or formal responsibilities. They meet two to three times a year to be brought up to date about Norwood services and new projects. The Council is presided over by the Chairman, David Ereira. Norwood’s Chief Executive Designate, Elaine Kerr also attends to present and answer questions or requests for information.
