Adult Recruitment Selection Panels
The Inclusive Recruitment scheme was launched to ensure that the needs and wishes of the people who use our services will be reflected in the way we hire new employees. The steering group committee is still meeting regularly to give service users and managers the chance to discuss the interview experience and ensure our methods are as effective as possible. The steering group is committed to finding ways in which Service Users can get involved with recruitment, whether this is asking questions at interview, participating in a practical tests or creating wish lists, Norwood believes that it is possible to have Service User involvement on every occasion when recruiting.
Although this is still under development it continues to be piloted across the organisation and the steering group is working towards full implementation in 2011.
