Service User Involvement
Norwood puts service-users at the centre of our planning and provides specific services to suit the needs of children and families. Service User Focus Groups are an integral part of Norwood's vision to increase its person-centred planning (PCP) by allowing the users of our services to choose and plan the level and types of services they want.
- Adult Recruitment Selection Panels Residents of Ravenswood have been trained to interview new staff who will support them in their everyday lives.
- Young People's Focus Group (YPFG) Set up in 2005, the Young People’s Focus Group is made up of young people under the age of 17 from Unity (East and North West) and Buckets & Spades. It has since been granted funding from the Big Lottery to continue the project.
