Benjamin’s Story Benjamin Marks is a typical 17-year-old, who likes music, football, and just chilling out with his friends. He is the eldest of four children, and has three younger sisters who all adore their big brother.
Skyla's Story Skyla is a gorgeous, sociable six year-old little girl who loves playing and being active. However, unlike other children her age, she cannot walk or talk.
Simon's Story Simon*, 18, is an only child whose parents lived on the periphery of the community but, nevertheless, gave him a modest Bar Mitzvah. However, shortly afterwards, their financial situation worsened when his father lost his job as a salesman and was unable to find other suitable employment. His mother had a low-paid job as a catering assistant and tensions within the family escalated when she, with resentment, became the breadwinner.
The Triplets' Story Daniel, Mark and Paul are 8-year-old triplets.When they were nearly four years old, Mark and Paul were diagnosed with severe autism and learning disabilities.They need 24-hour care and are likely to need specialist support throughout their lives.
Rachel's Story Rachel has Down’s syndrome, severe learning disabilities and a heart defect. She is 21 years old and lives in a Norwood registered care home in Hendon where staff provide her with round-the-clock support with eating, drinking and personal care.
