Speech and Language Therapy
The Binoh Speech and Language Therapy department offers 
assessment, diagnosis, therapy and school/home programmes to maximise children’s language skills and communication potential.
Our ethos is to work closely with parents, teachers and others involved with the child. As well as providing ‘hands on’ treatment we aim to offer support to families and schools faced with the day-to-day issues involved in managing children with communication problems.
Binoh Speech and Language Therapists see children who present the following difficulties:
- Immature pronunciation
- Delayed use of words or sentences
- Poor concentration and poor listening skills
- Specific difficulties with the expression or comprehension of language
- Dyspraxic or dyslexic difficulties
- Autistic spectrum disorders
- Hearing impairment
- Global developmental delay

- Individual Therapy in schools, family centres and clients' homes
- Group Therapy in schools and family centres
- Social skills courses weekly sessions and in the summer
- Assessments and Screening
- Home/School programmes
