Leonard Sainer Centre - Redbridge
The Leonard Sainer Children & Family Centre in Redbridge provides a multi-disciplinary service to the local community. The centre is home to a number of services including Family Support and Unity, and alongside the services it provides for children and families, the Leonard Sainer centre is unique in that it provides support for adults with learning disabilities, particularly those living in our local residential homes in North East London.
Adult activities include music sing-alongs and cultural afternoons every six weeks. Each gives residents of our homes the opportunity to develop relationships and lead full and interesting social lives.
Norwood has been commissioned by London Borough of Redbridge Aiming High for Disabled Children to offer holiday play schemes and home support during the half term holidays for children and young people with disabilities aged 5 – 18 years.
