What's on at Kennedy Leigh
The Kennedy Leigh Children & Family Centre offers the following services:
- 2Gether A lively fun session for parents and infants and pre-school children including activities such as arts and crafts, singing, themed play. Discussions for parents on sleep management, potty training, tantrums etc. Refreshments provided.
- Norwood Nursery The Norwood Nursery provides an inclusive service for children, both with and without learning disabilities, aged between two and five-years-old. The children play and learn together in a bright, warm and friendly environment, benefiting from the excellent facilities which include specialist equipment within an adventure playground, a sensory room, a sensory garden and a soft play room. Within this setting children are able to learn to socialise and interact, as well as have an opportunity to ex
- Rainbow A facilitated group where mothers receive support in sharing experiences and information when bringing up children who have special needs. The children are in turn cared for by staff and volunteers and they have the opportunity to have a therapeutic session with a specially trained Yoga practitioner.
- StreetWISE Aimed at children who need help improving their confidence and self esteem. The group tackles issues through games, art, drama and personal safety activities. The group is a safe place for children to think and reflect. The group explores issues such as friends, feelings, bullying and the playground.
- Twins & more group A facilitated group for parents of twins and triplets to provide an opportunity to share experiences and information. The twins and triplets enjoy a fun playtime with staff and volunteers.

- Yogababies These popular six week courses provide an exciting opportunity to learn new and different ways to interact with your baby.
