Norwood offers a very broad range of support for children and families through our three Children and Family Centres.
Each centre offers a range of services including toy libraries, mother & toddler groups, therapy rooms and counselling which are used by thousands of people each year.
Our Family Support teams, based at each centre, support over 600 families at any one time who are experiencing social difficulties or are affected by disability. Please find further information on children and on adults by clicking these links.
Unity is a recreational, play and youth service for children which runs holiday schemes at Norwood’s children & family centres in Hendon and Redbridge, as well as after-school clubs and residential holidays.
Targeted at the Orthodox Community in Hackney, Wellbeing at Bearsted provides expert health care advice and services for children up to the age of five, including a newborn hearing screening clinic, an immunisation drop in and accident prevention classes. Wellbeing at Bearsted is situated next to the Hackney - Somers Centre.
