Wellbeing at Bearsted is Norwood’s health and wellbeing centre in Hackney, providing services for the local orthodox Jewish community. It is a partnership between Norwood, and the City and Hackney Community Health Services and provides expert health care advice and services for children up to the age of five, including a newborn hearing screening clinic, immunisation drop-in and health reviews.
Health Visitors have rolled out their Multi-Agency health reviews, allowing parents to meet with a variety of health professionals in a drop-in clinic environment. Additionally, the centre is home to a specialist team who are able to offer general health information and advice to the orthodox community, in addition to the general drop-in health clinic. We are able to offer free NHS health checks to men and women aged 18+.
