Somers Children & Family Centre, Hackney

The Somers Children & Family Centre is located in the heart of Hackney in East London, an area with a high Jewish population.

Consequently, as our aim is to provide the services that the local community demand, services at the Somers Children & Family Centre include a choice of parent and child drop-ins to suit the variety of Jewish communities in Hackney. These often incorporate speakers and workshops on varied topics of child development and parenting.

Our social work teams provide assessments and support where appropriate. There is a first time mums group, a group for twins, triplets and children under 5, mother and toddler groups for Orthodox families, and parent and toddler groups and service called Binoh for children with special educational needs.
