Norwood’s residential homes adopt a Person Centred approach to the services we offer to adults who have a learning disability, with a wide range of support needs, with an underpinning ethos of inclusion, and an emphasis on the promotion of Service User’s independence, rights, choice, dignity, privacy and fulfilment as basic values to work within.
All homes are professional managed and staffed 24hrs per day with appropriately qualified and skilled staff, and are run in line with government expectations and the Commission for Social Care Inspectorates National Minimum Standards.
The management and staff of our services work very closely with the local community services and professional bodies to ensure that each service user receives access to appropriate healthcare and support.
Our services are varied ranging from small apartment style accommodation to specialist purpose built homes and are in the heart of local communities mainly within Redbridge, Harrow and Barnet.
Whilst we do offer support to non-Jewish service users, all our homes observe kashrut, Shabbat and the various festivals.
